You think you are a good person. You woke up today, perhaps kissed your partner, went to a job to provide for your family, and maybe you even held a door open for a stranger. You tell yourself that you are “civilized,” that you are part of a “developing” society, and that you possess “humanity.” You are lying to yourself. If we strip away the cover, the marketing, and the willful ignorance you use to sleep at night, what remains is not a “gentleman” or a “civilized being.” What remains is a parasite.
